Well, sorry to disappoint you, unfortunately sending events to facebook and google is rather complicated that expected so I dont think we will be adding that part anytime soon. However, sync addon is not able to sync already fetched events on automatic schedule 🙂

Hey Ashan, hope you’re well and have not been totally tied up in big fixes over the past 18 months 🙂
So is there any progress on turning this into a sync rather than a copy since it was launched back in May 2015 please?
That was rather a long time ago 🙂

I just bought Sync and after installing all I am getting is a messga “You need PHP version 5.4 or higher for this EventON Sync to work properly.” I have gone to my server and checked, which shows me using 5.6. I even changed to 5.4 and 5.5 with no fix. Can you help me with this, or refund me for this plugin as it does not work?

Hello Drew, We are nearing the final stages of sync addon it will not have the 2 way sync but will do fetching. And running tests these days hoping for a May end release. 🙂 You would need to make a custom PHP code to get rid of duplicated my friend 🙂

Yeah, I’m interested in adding this too.

Man, I have a client and I don’t even care about the two-way thing. Just letting them use Facebook to create events and completely not even touch the WP dashboard would be okay with both me and them.

They know how to post an event.

Posting events to WP has proven to be sloppy — lots of duplicates, duplicate locations and event details, shallow content, extra images uploaded for no reason, large images, images that are copyrighted and pulled off Google somewhere… they do all that.

This sync—even the one-way thing—would be awesome. They’d never have to deal with any of that again.

Well maybe.

Ashan … know how the plugin “remembers” event coordinator details? Is there some way to clean all that up? We have anywhere from 2 to 5 “sort-of-matching” details in our event coordinator section.
